568-264 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Ordered as TES70264, this is an AS568-264 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.484 in (190.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.762 in (197.15 mm). As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, food and beverage processing, and cryogenic and high-temperature equipment.
