568-445 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

The TES70445 is an AS568-445 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.975 in (202.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.525 in (216.54 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. The material holds up against wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
