This o-ring is supplied in AS568-149 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.8 in (71.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.006 in (76.35 mm), catalogued under part number A80149. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) is known for excellent electrical insulating properties and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The material holds up against amines and corrosion inhibitors, hot water, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents will shorten service life.
