-319 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

E70319 is an AS568-319 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.037 in (26.34 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.457 in (37.01 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and brake fluid. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

Typical settings include outdoor equipment, potable water applications, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
