An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to water and steam, dilute acids and alkalis, and ozone, UV and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) delivers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance.
