-017 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

APG stocks the VB90017, an AS568-017 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.676 in (17.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.816 in (20.73 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, oil and gas, and chemical processing.
