This o-ring is supplied in AS568-009 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D measuring an inside diameter of 0.208 in (5.28 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.348 in (8.84 mm), catalogued under part number TFE009. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. This material stands up to steam, solvents, and strong acids and bases. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).
