-028 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-028 red Silicone 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.364 in (34.65 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.504 in (38.2 mm), catalogued under part number S70028. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is known for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service call for a different compound.
